Yaacov Shawish Ashkenazi, son of Haim was born in 1931.

In 1945 he joined the Combat Unit in Zichron Yaacov under the command of Zalman Samsonov “David”.

He received the Lehi badge and the State Warriors badge. He married Miriam, daughter of Rose Rashel and Elzem.

Yaacov died March 11^th, 1988 and was laid to rest in the cemetery in Zichron Yaacov.
