Simcha Yechezkel Zafrir, son of Ahuva and Yitzhak was born on Friday April 16^th, 1929. In 1947 he joined the Combat Division of Lehi in Jerusalem. Among his commanders were Yehuda Bar Giora “Giora” and Emmanuel Efrati “David”. He received the Lehi badge. He married Miriam. Simcha died on January 21^st, 2008 and was laid to rest at Har Hamenuhot cemetery in Jerusalem. His tombstone was engraved with the following sentences: “A Lehi man, traveled the land, seeking landscapes and nature“.
