Shlomo Peled, son of Sa’adia, was born in Yemen on October 3rd, 1930. In 1945 he joined the Lehi in Tel Aviv, in the Planning and Operations Divisions. Among his commanders were Shimon Mazali “Gad”, Levi Chaim “Ben Ami” and Levi Miriam “Yael”. After the declaration of independence of Israel, he enlisted with most Lehi members in the IDF on May 29th, 1948, and joined the 8th Brigade, 82nd Battalion. His military identity number was 86358. He received the Lehi badge. Shlomo died on September 20th, 2015 and was laid to rest in the Yarkon Cemetery.
