Amnon Ofer, son of Miriam and Haviv Belchatovski was born on November 5^th, 1927. Amnon took over Israel Eldad’s case when the British police came to the Gimnasia to arrest him. Amnon was supposed to pass the case, which held articles for the “Hazit”, over to Eldad’s wife, Batya. In 1947 he joined the Combat Division in Tel Aviv and served as Class Commander in a training course. Among his commanders were Emmanuel Hanegbi “Adam” and Ya’akov Banai “Mazal”. He received the Lehi badge. Amnon Married Lehi member Drora (Levi). Amnon died on Tuesday June 6^th, 2008 and was laid to rest in the Carmei Yosef cemetery.
