Moshe Gelfand, son of Eliahu, was born in Russia in 1905 and came to Israel in 1925. In 1942 he joined the Lehi in Tel Aviv and held positions in propaganda and finance. In 1946 he was arrested because of snitching and was detained in Kishela and the Central Prison in Jerusalem. He married Shoshana.
