Yosef, son of Baruch was born to Baruch Mizrahi in 1926 and made aliya in 1935.

In 1946 he joined Lehi underground activities in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Among his commanders were Yael Ben Dov and Emmanuel Hanegbi “Adam” with whom he stayed in touch over the years.

After the independence of the State of Israel, he enlisted in the IDF and joined the Negev Brigade.

After his release from the IDF, he was hired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs because he spoke several languages and was a highly regarded employee. He participated in the establishment of 4 settlements in the Negev.

He received the Lehi badge and the State Warriors badge.

He married Batia. The couple had three children, a daughter – Simcha, sons – Baruch and Samuel and grandchildren. Shmuel was killed in an act of hostilities in 1997.

Yosef died in 1986.
