The story of Avraham Stern -“Yair”, founding commander of the Fighters for the freedom of Israel (Lehi). His son Yair sets out on a moving personal journey through the stages of his father’s life, from his birthplace in Poland to the secret apartment in Tel Aviv where he was murdered by British detectives on February 12, 1942.
Lehi veterans shed light on Yair’s persona as fighter, poet and statesman while also describing their continued struggle to liberate the Jewish homeland from British rule and establish the state of Israel.
