Batia Zaken, daughter of Avraham, was born on 28^th January, 1931. In 1944 she joined the Lehi underground as a fighter in the Jerusalem Combat Division. Among his commanders were Dror, Tamir, Giora and Ezra Yachin “Al-Nakam”. Batia was among the youngest women in Lehi Jerusalem, she participated in many operations and carried packages of explosives with her fellow fighters. In 1948 she was arrested after the assassination of Brandot and held in Jaffa Prison. She received the Lehi badge.
