Nehemiah Shomroni, son of Sarah and Haim, was born in 1928 and made aliya in 1939. In 1945 he joined the Lehi Underground in Tel Aviv under the command of Emmanuel Hanegbi “Adam”. After the declaration of independence, he enlisted in the IDF with most Lehi members on May 29^th, 1948 and joined the 8^th Brigade. Nehemiah died on Thursday December 17^th, 2007 and was laid to rest in the Kiryat Shaul Cemetery in Tel Aviv.
