Esther Shlomi, daughter of Yosef and Mazal Kassurla, was born in Chile on August 14^th, 1928, and made aliya in 1935. In 1945, she joined the Lehi in Jerusalem as a nurse and provided first aid in combat. Among her commanders were Meir Golan “Sharon” and Rina Greenwald. She received the Lehi badge and the State Warriors badge. She married Shalom Shlomi Salma and they had four children. Esther died on October 12^th, 2004 and was laid to rest in Har Hamenuhot cemetery in Jerusalem.
