Yosef Schindler, son of Kalman was born in Austria on October 21^st, 1930, and made aliya on June 1933. In November 1947, he joined the Lehi operations in Jerusalem, under the command of Yehuda Bar Giora. Yosef was arrested after Brandot’s murder and held in detention in Jaffa and then Acre. He was released on December 30^th, 1948.
