David Or, son of Ya’akov, was born in Kishinev on January 22, 1919.

In 1939 he joined the Etzel. With the split from Etzel in 1940, he joined Lehi as a fighter in Jerusalem under the command of Yehushua Zetler “Meir”. David was detained for about a year in the Mizra and Latrun encampments.

After the dissolution of Lehi, he joined the IDF.

He received the Lehi badge and the State Warriors badge.

He married Esther.

David died on January 27, 1992, and is buried in Har Hamenuchot Cemetery in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem.
