Raphael Mizrahi, son of Shaul, was born in Jerusalem in 1928. In 1946 he joined the Lehi in Zichron Ya’akov and Sheih-Munis. He trained in weapons, functioned as a demolitions expert and was part of the Commando Unit. Among his commanders were Ya’akov Grenek “Dov”, Leah (Grenek) Cohen “Bat-Ami”. After the declaration of independence of the State of Israel, he enlisted with other Lehi members in the 82^nd Battalion on May 29^th, 1948. He received the Lehi badge and the State Warriors badge.
