Yaacov Levenberg, son of Moshe Halevy and Tova Tsharnah, was born on September 20th, 1908, and immigrated to Israel in 1933. In 1945 he joined the Lehi underground in the Supporters Division in Givatayim and Tel Aviv and participated in organizing meeting points and hiding places for Nathan Yellin Mor “Garra” and Israel Eldad, and operated under the command of Emanuel Hanegbi “Adam”. He received the Lehi badge and the State Warriors badge. He married fellow Lehi member, Haya Sara Shraga.
Yaacov died on the 21st of April, 1992, and was laid to rest in Ganei Esther Cemetery in Rishon LeZion.
