Natan Freund, son of Pelle and Hanoch, was born in Poland on Thursday, May 2^nd, 1925, and made Aliya in 1936. In 1946 he joined the Lehi underground in Tel Aviv and Binyamina and participated in fundraising activities and fighting. Among his commanders were Matityahu Ghatia “Beit Halachmi” and Yehushua (Becker) Israeli “Hanania”. He received the Lehi badge. He married Lehi member Ruth Volach. They had three children, Shulamit, Ya’akov and Michal. Natan died Monday, March 31^st, 2013 and was laid to rest in Yarkon Cemetery.
