Mordechai Conorti, son of Yitzhak, was born in Bulgaria on May 17^th, 1925, and made aliya in 1933. In 1944 he joined the Youth Division of the Lehi in Tel Aviv. He participated in hanging posters and other roles. Among his commanders were Avraham Nussbaum “Ephraim” and Ya’akov Grenek “Dov”. After the declaration of independence of Israel, he enlisted in the IDF with most Lehi members and joined the 8^th Brigade. Mordechai died on April 14^th, 2008 and was laid to rest in Yarkon Cemetery.
