Binyamin Bar-Aam, son of Yitzhak Eliezer, was born in Germany on the 20th of July, 1923. In 1936, at the age of 13, he made aliya to Israel. In 1946 he joined the Information and Supporters divisions in Tel Aviv under the command of Geula Cohen “Ilana”. He worked in recruitment and gave lectures in the underground cells. When the underground broadcasts resumed, it was decided to broadcast songs in the spirit of the Lehi underground. Binyamin composed several songs and composed lyrics for them. Geula Cohen connected Binyamin with Nehemiah Ben-Tor “Araziah, who studied the songs and sang them on air. He later became famous as a well-known Israeli composer, music lecturer and critic, and even served as the General Secretary of the Association of Composers in Israel. He received the Lehi badge. Binyamin died on the 18th of February, 2012, and was laid to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Cemetery.
